It Appears as if the Covid Death Rate is Increasing Rapidly

Above is the UK Covid data. Now we don’t know exactly where this data comes from, but let’s make the assumption for argument that the data was consistently obtained. Usually the Covid deaths go up about 7 days after the cases. To calculate a “Covid Death Rate” we will take the 7-day average of Covid deaths and divide that number by the corresponding 7-day average of Covid cases from the week previous. I will look at the Covid death peaks and see how the death rate compares.

Now the 4/13/2020 period was before testing was common as we were in the very beginning of this “pandemic”. It was also at the time when Covid itself was more deadly. The second date 1/24/2021 was after a lot of vaccine was introduced and the virus was evolving into being less severe. The vaccine was also being mass injected at the time. The third date is 1/22/2022. This date we were at a peak, the top peak for the country. Omicron was becoming dominant and less severe still. We can see the death rate was not scary. The fourth date is 4/25/2022, still in Omicron, but death rate seemed to be increasing. Maybe this is less testing? Maybe the vaccine is waning in effectiveness? Maybe Antibody Dependent Enhancement is starting to set in? Maybe the virus is evolving? The fifth date is today (of a couple days ago). The deaths have more than doubled, but the cases are flat. This is a scary doubling in death rate in less than three months.

This is an alarming trend. I hope this does not continue. What is happening? Have the British citizens just given up on Covid? Is it a new more deadly strain? Are the vaccines starting to have a negative effect as demonstrated by “The Expose”? Is this some temporary data glitch? Have the British just stopped testing?
